Platform holders back E for All

Sony and Nintendo to attend new industry expo this October.

E for All, the US-based industry gathering that emerged from the ashes of the now defunct E3, has been given the backing of Sony and Nintendo, according to Gamasutra.

Run by Gamepro publisher IDG, E for All will be taking place in LA on October 20th, and unlike E3, it will be open to the public. Sony and Nintendo are claimed to have both secured a large presence at the event.

E3 ran into trouble last year when it came under heavy criticism due to the escalating costs faced by publishers wishing to attend. E for All, it’s promised, will be a smaller, more tight-knit affair.

Registration and pricing details for the expo are expected to be released in the next few weeks.
