Brand new instalment in the legendary Sega franchise bound for Nintendo’s console.

Since wowing gamers with its arrival on the Sega Saturn nearly ten years ago, fans have eagerly awaited a new instalment in the NiGHTS Into Dreams franchise – and now Sega is preparing to answer these gaming prayers with a brand new instalment of the series on Nintendo Wii.

Spong reports that whilst neither Sega nor Nintendo is willing to go on the record with an official confirmation, it has received word that the game is definitely in the pipeline.

Rumours of a resurrection for the series have been rife for years now. This latest speculation arose following a back-page teaser in the latest edition of Future’s Official Nintendo Magazine.

So far no details of the game, its use of the Wii remote or a release date have been revealed.
