Im asking here to not make it a MMORPG.Even tho that there has been problems and not a great success the currently pc game StarWars Galaxies.It wouldn't be far to xbox gamers such as myself.since early 03 i waiting for the first KOTOR to come out as i watched the previews.Then coming upon KOTOR2.it wouldn't be fare to those who have as much fun as i have playing them on xbox.Now since the 360 has came out i was thinking that the new release KOTOR3 would be on Xbox 360.which was a problem enough since i don't have a Xbox360,but i was fine still with that thought.but putting it on pc and not only that but making it an MMORPG would just be down right upsetting to me and as well i know alot more of other people who are familer with the KOTOR story and games.If at least if it is released on pc atleast make it on both Xbox and pc,and not an MMORPG,and if it is just out on pc dont make it an MMORPG,just leave it as an RPG.Please dont make it an just pc realese.Cause i ahve been a big fan since and before it was relased on to xbox.KOTOR the first game is still my favorite and ive beaten it countless of times and still love playing it.So just from one fan to the makers please dont make it an MMORPG for me and the rest of the fans.

i have played both games and completed each over and over aagain from all different aspects trying to change the game as i started it and when i decided to get a 360 one of the reasons was so i could play KOTOR 3 on it because i expected it to be on there...please dont make it a pc release and a MMORPG it was great as a RPG so why change? what you already have ?

The first 2 games were great and an MMO for KOTOR would definately be a good idea considering how bad Star Wars Galaxies was turned into. I mean come on how can anyone of you not want an MMO in the KOTOR series.

the mmorpg idea is rediculous. reasons:

1. the first 2 games were rpg's. why would you switch genres on the last and most important game in the series.
2. the game has to be canon. how is that even possible on a mmorpg in the star wars universe?
3. for the people who have played the game since kotor 1, this is gonna piss off allot of fans who may be unable to play mmo's for whatever reason.
4. dont try to salvage destroyed game by destroying a legendary game series. its counter-productive.
5. and finally for the people who bought a 360 for the pleasure of playing kotor III.

I think it would be a great idea to make a new mmorpg like say (star wars galaxies 2) for xbox360 and ps3......and this time make it to where its actually fun!!! HOWEVER if someone was to make KOTOR3 a mmorpg i think u would have mutiny on your hands!! The KOTOR series deserves respect..KOTOR was one of the best RPG games ever made! KOTOR2 was a decent game but obviously rushed...dont ruin the series even more by making it a mmorpg...make the game right how it deserves to be for the real fans of the game!! I have been playing the KOTOR series since near release of the first game. The only problem I have ever had with the games is that they end. I think a KOTOR mmo to finish off the series would be an excellent idea. With the wide variety of classes available in the regular game i think it would make an excellent MMO. PvP would be fun as hell with Sith and Jedi going at it in the middle of Tatooine. And for all you 360 owners i think that you need to lighten up a bit because do not forget that the 360 is very online capable. I would almost prefer to play it on the 360, but i know i will have to get it for my pc just like the other 2 KOTOR games.

Here is the deal, when SOE **** on it's SWG player base, hundreds of thousands of people where left with out homes, Most went to WoW, We both deserve and need a new home, with the way the Kotor series works, it would fit. I understand that the xBox players would feel a bit ousted, but at the same time, most of them play halo, an have xbox live, what's another 15 amoth really. Not only that, the MMO environment would give you a never ending KKotor game, you could be your jedi, and acctually take part int he sith wars, how sweet would that be. I do feel for you and your potential loss at not being able to sit alone and play your game by yourself, but i like other people, so if it's not an MMO, i hope they make it multiplayer, and improve on on the game play,

An old republic MMORPG would be great, but a KOTOR one? The Kotor series is about the Jedi Order. Short of everyone being a Jedi, which kinda takes the uniqueness of ya characters away, it wouldn't work. I agree that an Old Republic game would be great online, but I'd prefer to see that as a Galaxies 2 and see the next KOTOR as a simpe rpg.
Though maybe a multipayer mode would be neat if they do it right.

The Star Wars Universe isnt just what the esteemed Mr. Lucas deems to authorize as "gospel". Many Star Wars games and books are just ignored like the 2nd Highlander movie. They dont live up to the mythology, the spirit of Star Wars. (for example, tell me: what is the 'White Currant')

Frankly I think the idea of KoTOR Online is an awesome idea. And I agree that the wost thing about the KoTOR series is that they end. The only problems I could forsee is everyone will want to be Jedi/Sith, so how do you make it seem as though the Jedi are a small organization in a galaxy of billions? there has to be some advantage to not being a force user, or they have to limit the populations of each server. I would totally Jump from WoW for a better SW:MMO. You have 3000 years of history to live out in KoTOR so no worries about what'll be canon or non-canon.

Make it an MMO, those who don't like the idea don't have to play, it's quite simple. No one is twisting your arm, so occupy your time with something else. I have played all KOTOR as well, but there is nothing wrong with a new and concept.

It wasn't the main reason i bought an xbox 360 but it was definately up there. I have waited for kotor 3 anxiously for xbox360. I had an idea of having the exile go sith while revan continues the path of the jedi or vice versa! There is so much potential there for a kotor 3. forget about mmo

I think a KOTOR MMO game will be the best. I would leave WoW for it in a heartbeat plus i really liked the originals on xobx i think a mmo of it would top them easly. One idea for the mmo if u make it would have people pick what the want like Merchants, Madalorians, diferent species ect... not just sith or jedi that would be to boring. Those of you who are crying not to make it an MMO are morons. Clearly. What the hell kinds of arguments are those? What do they stand to gain by making it an XBox game? A surge of gains from eager gamers and then NOTHING.

Make a quality MMO nowadays, especially with graphics in the tradition of the KOTOR games, and you're rolling in the money. SWG is as good as dead. The community left because of the constant nerfing, the RPers left because of the installation of the option to be a jedi at the click of a button. If Bioware can engineer a game where players have the option to have Force Sensitive character by completing a process, after playing for so many hours, so on and so forth, the game will be a smash.

Make it an MMO. The end.

I played galaxies for 1 year, and i cried when the game was ruined and it has so good perspective. Then Wow ofcours got monopoly on game market. If u make this mmorpg, i will personnaly come and marry u all and give u mass hugs and kisses. It will be the last game i will play, till it ends!!! :)

listen, WoW is the best MMO ever made so far and it started in a Semi way that kotor is. It started as RTS games (as kotor is RPG) and they made it into an MMORPG and LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!! Millions of people play it and dont plan on stopping soon. I love Kotor and I want to see that happen and expand the games popularity to the world. If Bioware does make it an MMO, im getting it and if it has a monthly fee, who cares? ITS KOTOR PEOPLE! Bioware knows what their doing and I know they wont dissipoint us im sure.

i think that it will be a brilliant idea. the thing that i think they should do is spend lots of time on it and find a way of crossing it with the xbox 360, ps3, and pc. it could work in theory. imagine that, your friend could have an xbox 360 and you could have a ps3 and you could both play together! also kotor feels like it should be multiplayer anyway.

Yeah make it an MMO but include other things that SWG pre-cu nailed. The countless professions, character custiomization, guild an community depth, and the ability to build your own Star Wars cities made SWG one of my favorite MMOs. Now add in the story and setting of KOTOR and you've got yourself a blockbuster. If their going to make another Star Wars related MMO, do it right and please learn from SOEs mistakes. Listen to the consumers. Just some thoughts.

people, I'd love a KOTOR RPG/MMO bcos u could have the Canon part for story mode, then a new, improved (bcos its online and expanding) MMO section for Xbox 360 and PC, where you start the same but the story is endless, you go up levells then stop somewhere, but dont HAVE to be a Jedi, and have proffs like SWG. And Vehicles and Mounts and the like, as well as like species other than human (i know, PC had mods for Twilek and things,) but a Wookie would be nice, i love wookiees. And it would jsut rock if it was both...

Who ever said this would be strictly KOTOR? From what I've seen it says, in no uncertain terms, based off of the KOTOR universe... I've played through both games as well and would greatly appreciate a KOTOR-based (emphasis on based) MMO after the flop that was SWG...

Look at it this way. Sure Galaxies wasn't that great but think about it. A company that makes horrible systems and TV's got with Lucas arts on making a game. that doesn't even make sense. With the success of bioware so far it would be a great game. Plus KotOR is an awesome series so far and if you put the two together it will be kick ***. in it you should be able to choose sides like in SWG but it should branch out more into Sith, Republic, Mandalorians, Czerka Corp. That would be truely awesome. In fact I was jsut thinking about this the other day. DO IT!
