Senior execs and publishing managers given new roles
Future Publishing has announced a reshuffle of its publishing and senior managerial teams – with UK MD Robert Price and group publishing director Simon Wear both being promoted to newly created positions.
Price has been appointed chief executive of Future UK, while colleague Wear has become chief operating officer at the magazine publisher.
The company has also announced several promotions within its publishing team. James Binns, Stuart Anderton and Peter Stothard have been appointed as publishing directors of games, computing, photography and automotive respectively. Matt Pierce, Kelly Corten and Paul Sloggett replace them as respective group publishers.
Mia Walters moves into the role of publishing development director, while James Ashton has become group manager for games digital.
“As we continue to develop a cross-channel approach, rapidly bringing our print and online businesses together, it’s vital that we take steps to keep our best people,” said Robert Price, chief executive of Future UK. “We are building a structure that delivers promotion opportunities for consistently excellent performers.”
