Peripherals firm signs agreement with Microsoft to create Halo merchandise
Ahead of this Wednesday’s release of Bungie’s highly anticipated Xbox 360 FPS beta Halo 3, Mad Catz has signed a deal with publisher Microsoft to create a range of merchandise based on the upcoming FPS.
Next Generation reports that so far a range of Halo 3 character faceplates have been announced.
“The addition of this marquee licence to our portfolio is further evidence of the on-going success in our initiative to align ourselves with the most appealing brands and popular software launches,” Mad Catz CEO Darren Richardson stated.
The deal follows on from the recent agreement between Mad Catz and Microsoft that will see the peripherals specialist produce accessories based on upcoming Bioware RPG Mass Effect. The firm was also responsible for a line of Gears of War products last year.
