Retail updates hint at 2008 release date for Konami’s PS3 title
Though retail listings aren’t always the most reliable of sources for releases dates, CVG reports that a US games store EB Games has hinted that Konami’s highly anticipated upcoming PS3 stealth title Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has been delayed until 2008.
A recent customer email from the retailer specifies March 1st 2008 as the new release date, significantly later than the currently anticipated September 2007 release window.
The UK arm of online retailer Amazon has also changed its pages to reflect this rumoured slip, though others, such as Play.com , appear to be sticking to the aforementioned September date.
