Trade association Tiga's developer and publisher meeting event will take place at the Develop conference this July.
Now in its fifth year, the Tiga Content Market aims to bring together buyers of content from the top US, Japanese and European games publishers so they can meet and do business with games developers from across the UK and Europe.
Working with UK Trade and Investment the 2007 focus is on getting developers and publishers to meet each other - the Outsourcing & Middleware aspect of previous Content Market events has meanwhile been incorporated into the Develop expo; and Tiga have negotiated a 10 per cent discount for its Outsourcing & Middleware members wishing to exhibit in the expo.
Also, the 2007 Content Market features a new format with dedicated meeting spaces. Tiga Members will pay just £500 (£700 for non-members) for an area and there are also closed booths available for private meetings.
The Develop expo runs in Brighton at the Hilton Metropole Hotel from July 25th to 26th as part of the Develop conference.
“Tiga is excited at the prospect of holding the Content Market at Develop in Brighton with Tandem Events,” said Fred Hasson, CEO of Tiga.
“The new format and greatly reduced costs will make this opportunity more attractive to developers who want to pitch new products to some of the industry’s leading publishers or who simply want to keep in touch with key clients.

“From a timing point of view July is great, and by moving this event down to Brighton it gives us the chance to build a quality B2B event for the industry in the UK, in one of its most important centres."
Andy Lane, organiser of the Develop Conference & Expo, added: ”The Develop Conference has quickly established itself as a key event for all aspects of the European development community. We’re delighted to be working with Tiga on the Content Market and see Brighton as a natural home for it.
“Sitting alongside the Conference & Expo, the Develop Mobile & Games Edu conferences, and the various other developer events taking place that week, it’s clear there’s only one place for developers to be this July."
Those wishing to take part in the Tiga Content Market should contact Stephanie Rickwood at Tiga on 0845 094 1 095 or stephanie.rickwood@tiga.org.
Tiga Middleware and Outsourcing members can meanwhile sign up for the Develop Expo and get 10 per cent discounts - they should contact organiser Tandem Events on +44 (0)20 7405 4500.
