Rumours suggest that Star Wars Battlefront developer hard at work on new Gotham outing
US consumer site IGN is claiming that Pandemic, the developer behind the likes of Mercenaries, Destroy All Humans, Star Wars Battlefront and Full Spectrum Warrior, is working on a gaming sequel to recent movie Batman Begins.
The game, called The Dark Knight, has reportedly stemmed from a deal which saw Pandemic’s owning company, private equity form Elevation Partners, capture the rights to the project.
EA, which published 2005’s Batman Begins, is also tipped to publish this new outing.
It has been said for some time that Pandemic is hard at work on a secret title, known only as Project B. So far, however, there has been no official confirmation from either Pandemic, Elevation or EA.
