Koch Media launches ‘MySpace for indies’
The creator of successful Nintendo supply portal Nindie.com is inviting UK indie retailers to sign up to its new online community project, Nindie Space.
The site allows UK independents to chat, write blogs, enter forums and upload photos, videos and information.
Users also benefit from MySpace-style ‘friend’ profile areas, as well as receiving the latest news from Nintendo HQ. They can also contribute to UK games trade-related surveys.
“We’ve got the functionality up and running and it’s truly impressive stuff,” said MD of Koch Media Craig McNicol. “Now we need to get the indie community engaged.
“It’s going to be a real benefit to them to just log on and chew the cud with fellow-minded indies – not to mention a lot of fun.”
