Big Brain Academy confirmed for Wii

Puzzle title hitting European retail on July 20th

After a successful stint in both the Eastern and Western markets on DS, Big Brain Academy, the younger sibling of Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training, is heading to Wii on July 20th.

Featuring a number of brand new mini-games and multiplayer modes, the game will live up to Nintendo’s new family-friendly ethos with gameplay designed to be accessible to everyone. And of course, the title will make the most of the Wii’s motion sensing controller.

The progress of each player will be monitored, allowing them to keep track of their mental development across the game’s five categories – Visualise, Memorise, Analyse, Compute and Identify.

In addition, the Wii’s wireless internet functions will allow gamers to share their ‘student record books’ with players around the world.

The game will arrive just a month after its aforementioned big brother, Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training, sees a sequel arrive on DS.
