Capcom financials confirm latest zombie outing delayed
The latest financial report from Japanese developer and publisher Capcom has indirectly revealed that its next-gen zombie sequel Resident Evil 5 will not be appearing before the end of the current financial year – which means the earliest it could possibly debut is April 2008.
However, fans of the globally successful franchise will be treated to both Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles on DS and Resident Evil 4 Wii later this year.
Capcom predicts its biggest releases of the current financial year will be next-gen brawler Devil May Cry 4 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and its new outing for popular retro platformer Mega Man.
