Gamers rack up over 200 million wi-fi gaming sessions, says Nintendo
The top five most popular titles played over wi-fi by the five million unique users were Animal Crossing: Wild World, Mario Kart DS, Metroid Prime Hunters and also Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, which are set to launch in Europe on July 27th.
“With Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Nintendo DS and Wii owners can connect to play a game with a friend, or against another player around the world and experience many hours of fun without needing to worry about complicated procedures or paying anything extra for the service,” said European marketing director Laurent Fischer.
