In an aggressive move to boost its operations in the US, Codemasters has poached a number of key figures from development and publishing rivals Konami and Capcom.

Former Konami COO Geoff Mulligan becomes president of Codemasters Inc, reporting to CEO Rod Cousens. Also from Konami, former senior vice president of sales and marketing Catherine Fowler becomes Codemasters’ new senior VP of publishing.

Rounding off the moves, Charles Bellfield, former vice president of marketing and communications at both Sega and Capcom, joins Codies’ US outfit as VP of marketing.

“If this were the NFL draft, you could say we’ve cleaned up in the first round with true industry heavy-heights,” CEO Rod Cousens stated. “Getting the right management team in place was a crucial step in laying the groundwork for future growth in the North American market.”
