Sega Rally roars toward Sony handheld

Publisher announces September 2007 release date for PSP iteration of the upcoming next-gen Rally sequel

Having already been announced for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Sega has confirmed that its upcoming Sega Rally, a new instalment to its legendary race franchise, will also be arriving on PSP.

The handheld project is being handled by FlatOut developer Bugbear, under the guidance of Sega’s new Sega Racing Studio.

Sega has promised that the game won’t be compromised in the transition to the small screen. The game itself is said to boast much-improved AI, compared to the previous Sega Rally games, whilst maintaining the same intuitive handling model.
