2K Games’ comic book FPS delayed for one month on PS3, though it will still hit Xbox 360 this Friday
Take 2 owned publisher 2K Games has confirmed that the PS3 iteration of it’s comic-based FPS The Darkness will not arrive alongside its Xbox 360 compatriot this Friday, and will instead hit UK retail on July 20th.
No reason has been given for the decision, with the region-free PS3 version arriving on time in North America tomorrow.
The Darkness, which is developed by Starbreeze, the team behind the universally applauded The Chronicles of Riddick on Xbox, is based on a comic-book series of the same name, and has already been at the receiving end of widespread critical acclaim.

That's that then
Well, guess that makes the decision for me as to what version I should buy on Friday. I kind of wanted some new stuff to play on the PS3 - it's being used more for Pro Evo and DVD's than anything else at the moment. Oh well - at least I'll get some Achievement points from it.
