Rumours that Activision is to breathe life back into its classic FPS series, with a release in the works for Q4 this year
According to a report by Stuart Bishop on consumer games site CVG, word is spreading that Activision is looking to revive its Soldier of Fortune FPS series on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Entitled Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back, sources claim the game will hit retail this November, which would no doubt point to an official announcement at next month’s E3.
The Soldier of Fortune series is famed for its violent content, and wowed gamers year ago with its limb-splitting antics.
Activision has so far refused to comment on the speculation.
