Face Training for DS to come with camera peripheral, and is due out in Japan next month

After the huge success of Nintendo’s Brain Training on DS, the Japanese platform holder is looking to expand its ‘new ways to play’ ethos with another a brand new quirky outing on the handheld later this year – Otana No DS Kao Training, or Face Training.

Wired’s Chris Kohler reports that the title will allow gamers to use their face to play the game, with the overall aim being to make your face a bit prettier through a regime of facial exercises.

In Japan a so-called ‘facening expert’ named Fumiko Inudo is lending her face to the game – suggesting that this will be another title Nintendo hopes will appeal to the female demographic.

Face Training is due out in Japan on August 2nd. No European or North American dates have been revealed.
