E3 2007: Gears of War confirmed for PC

Rumours put to rest as Epic’s shooter is announced for Games for Windows

With the E3 video having already done the rounds on YouTube, the news hardly came as a massive surprise – but PC gamers will still be pleased to hear that Epic’s hugely successful Xbox 360 shooter will be making its way to their machines under the Games for Windows brand.

The game will feature five new campaign chapters, new multiplayer content and a game editor. It will also be DirectX compatible.

Microsoft’s Peter Moore also confirmed that Games for Windows Live is set to be integrated into Epic’s highly popular Unreal Engine 3 – a move that could well give the service a significant boost.

Gears of War is due out on PC this Christmas.

Since it was released for x360, all the world expect it on the PC. Another "exclusive" xbox, that really was NOT exclusive, halo is another "exclusive" example that can be played better on PC, GoW PC is better too.
I say it 2 years ago and many say it wont hapend.
Now i say it again, "there is not a single game that you need a xbox to play it" buy an xbox is pointless and will crash anyway
