E3 2007: Sonic leads Xbox Arcade sprint

Sega retro classics available on Live Arcade, more big hitters on the way

No sooner had Peter Moore arrived on stage for Microsoft’s E3 presentation than two long-awaited Sega titles hit the Xbox 360 Live Arcade service – Sonic the Hedgehog and Golden Axe, both of which cost 400 points.

And a number of other titles were promised for the service, too, including the likes of Bomberman Live, Track and Field and Hexic 2 – as well as Codemasters’ upcoming Sensible World of Soccer, which itself was given special mention in the presentation.

In total, it was stated that the tally of available Xbox Live Arcade games will hit 100 by the end of the year.
