Well they have kept their fireworks a secret - Ive seen absolutely nothing that excites me - just a lot of crap about Blow Ray, UMD and all that stuff no one wants.

They need to fix backward compatibility, cut the price in half, offer a 3 year warranty, and get some decent games out.

I agree with smooty, I just purchased my PS3 and it's a dream besides game selection but as you see that will be fixed.

y the hell sud sony extend its warranty to 3 years....its not xbox 360 with a defect rate of over 33%; compare that to ps3 which has a universal defect rate of less than 1%....

Ever since E3, I havent been able to stop thinking about buying the PS3, I will buy it this week, its just too much, I know that their best games arent out yet but just the system and its power is amazing, I cant wait till they bring out their long waited titles. Like me I know the price has held us back from buying it, as a owner of the PS2, I know Sony will deliver incredible products. Its Sony, I dont bad talk MS, but I hate dumb comments that dont make realistic points, from Xbox fans as much as Sony Fans. Lets just applaud good things, and keep negative comments to ourselves. There is no need cause down the line, some xbox fan will find soemthing negative to say about Sony, no point.

Really boring are the childish negative comments from XBox fans against Sony and v.v. As a real Sony fan and Vaio, PS3 and PSP etc. owner I'm awaiting the Leipzig- fireworks. Its a good time for Sony to come out with amazing news to win back the market. I believe that we will be really delighted because of the incredible Hardware capacities of the PS3 which will be unlocked by the new titles.

I have never bought such a beatifully engineered product as this Playstation 3. A truly astounding piece of hardware that via an HDMI laden projector with optical link through to the home surround system has rendered the PS2, my Panasonic DVD player mercilessly obsolete whilst threatening the other one dimensional junk such as the HDTV tuner. No cords, no batteries, all wireless. Purrs along almost silently and unless I'm mistaken has greatly improved the purity of sound into the amp and standard DVD picture to the projector. My only gripe is the smallish hard drive and fledgling firmware but I'm going to rip out the drive and throw in a 250 or 300 gig replacement. There is no other system with the build quality and graphical ability to come close. The challenge for others is to replicate its "everythingness". I can't wait until they do!

People the ps3 is a load of crap yh it has good graphical ability but if you are waiting for good titles to come out u are mistaken and even if it does its gonna cost a load more, and more, and more because of the shity blue ray discs who in the right mind will make games to be put on blue ray discs it costs a freaking lot. Dont forget the back draws it has first of all u can play ps2 and ps1 titles but the graphics are way way way shit ps1s graphics are way better second why do you have to help push the cd in to the slot of the ps3 were the cd should go rigth in with a littel push littel forces not a big one that scars me why because eventually that cd or dvd with get damaged and will become unreaderbul unplayebul. One more thing it is very hard to make games for the cell prossecor the ps3 has and one game to make for the ps3 because of the cell prossecor wiht cost more and more money aswell as he blue ray disc so you think about it whould most titles be made for the ps3 with the too much costs and i hope they try to make the new psp a bit better then makeing it slimmer and adding a tv out put what are we going to do with a slimmer and ligther psp and with a tv out put that wokrs perfect only for movies and not for games we want more functions Sony please just make it a device that will make are dreams come true u messed up the ps3 atleast dont mess up the new psp:))))...............

A lost of reasons why the 360 is crap.
1. Theres a defect that in Almost every 360
2. the ps3 has what? one case of defect
3. ps3 will last a whole lot longer because of blu-ray
4. people will buy the ps3 because of the blu-ray (as its in theory cheaper then to buy a blu-ray player)

You Xbots need to shut the hell up. Sony is going to blow Microsuck away like they did in E3. They will make some really big announcements. Nintendo is not going to show up. All eyes are on Sony.

Well the only way im gonna see fireworks is if they announce a cutback in price like they did in the Us, i would settle for 499 € with a game or 2. Its time to treat us European with a little dignity. Also hopefully we´ll see some good games in store soon for the ps3.
