360 needed for ‘complete’ GTA IV experience

Rockstar spokesperson cajoled into fanboy-friendly admission

Though knowledge of Xbox 360’s exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV content has been widespread for quite a while, whether or not PS3 would receive anything similar remains a matter of debate – though a recent admission from Rockstar indicates that nothing is currently in the works.

CVG reports that when asked if there would be any advantage to owning the PS3 version instead of the 360 one, Rockstar spokesperson Hosi Simon responded: “Not that I can think of.

"But I guess if you want the complete experience with the episodes, then yeah, you should buy the 360, I suppose.

“However, they're identical games. We're not hardware makers, and we're not like a pawn between these companies, we try not to be as much as we can. We make great games for people to enjoy on whichever system they want.”

of the 360 loving, PS3 hating that goes on here.

This site in particular seems to pick choice items to post, anything pro 360 is guarenteed to get posted, as it anything bad about Sony.

Seems like a very biased editor.

I don't see any posts about inferior (read none) MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Killzone2, Drakes Fortune, R&C TOD, Gran Turismo 5 expereiences on 360!!!

as i just wrote in one of the other posts, i think it's pretty obvious mcv is quite sceptical of this - "cajoled into fanboy admission" it reads after all. i should imagine its pretty tough finding positive sony stuff to report what with all the negativity surrounding the firm. mcv is certainly a lot more balanced that most other sites imo.

CVG are so full of it. Does anyone actually read the rubbish they print? Complete experience, my bottom. GTA 4 will be good on both the 360 and the PS3, but at least on the PS3 you can be safe in the knowledge that the noise of the console wont drown out the sound of th game!

If you are so aggravated by the odd article Zed/Mak why dont you just not read it and go and spend your time doing something better then?
This article seems to favour the 360 on the mention of the DLC it will have in the future but I cant see much in the way of numerous slanted articles towards the 360 or vice versa but techincally it will be more "complete" as its seems that this extra content wont be with the ps3 anytime soon.
It seems these new comment sections added are being used just to vent anger if an article is posted that they disagree with and also now "fanboy" style comments.
Maybe they are just people who favour the ps3 and feel in-secure about this type of article.

My two cents.

To Zak:
If you were going to ridicule the 360 you could at least have mentioned the red lights of death problem, as all you need to do to rectify the sound of the 360s dvd drive is turn your tv on.

mak, ure obviouslly a ps3 fanboy who is angry cos he just found out he wont be getting the downloadable content. grow up. the ps3 wasnt getting stepped on in this article, all that was said is that out of the two, the 360 version will have more in the long run. this is a fact. not a slam on any side. calm down.
