Fight Night devs to make new Marvel game

EA Chicago working on PS3 and Xbox 360 superhero romp

EA's Chicago team will be producing a new game based on Marvel's comicbook characters, reports MCV's sister site Develop.

The new super hero fighting game will be developed for PS3 and Xbox 360 and released next year.

EA Chicago is best known for its Fight Night games and recent title Def Jam: Icon - the team specifically prides itself on work driven by cutting-edge technology.

"We looked at past comic-based games to find out what was missing and what was needed to successfully translate the intensity, excitement and fiction from comics into fighting games," said Kudo Tsunoda, general manager and VP at EA Chicago.

"We're challenging ourselves to make a game that delivers on the Super Hero promises of past top-tier fighting games.

They should not make it like xmen legends 2 although it was teriffic the reason being is that the gameplay would not be sufficient enough escecially for a 360 game the way they are making it seem pretty perfect all they have to do now is make sure the gameplay is wicked and that the characters have realistic powers and good characters qualtiy over quantity then it will not matter how much are in the game
