168 firms will be exhibiting at this year’s Tokyo Game Show
With 168 exhibitors across 1,708 booths, Tokyo Game Show 2007 will be the biggest event since it launched.
This year’s show – which will take place at Chiba City’s Makuhari Messe from September the 20th to the 23rd – will focus on connected networks, and is expected to attract somewhere in the region of 200,000 people.
Key publishers including Sega, Capcom, Square Enix, Konami, Namco Bandai and Tecmo will all be present at the show alongside format holders Microsoft and Sony. Nintendo, however, will be absent, reports Next Generation.
The first two days of the event will be exclusive to professionals, while the second half will be open to the public. This year’s keynote speaker will be Sony Computer Entertainment president Kaz Hirai.
