EA’s London-bound FPS to hit retail in good time for Christmas
It’s been on the radar of PC gamers for quite some time now, and now EA and Namco Bandai have confirmed that gothic London-based shooter-and-slasher Hellgate London will be hitting European retail on November 2nd.
North American gamers will receive it a couple of days earlier, on October 31st.
The action RPG boasts dynamically generated levels, advanced skill system and story-driven campaign. It will also feature a selection of online game modes – and an optional subscription service that offers additional content including quests, new character classes and items.
“We wanted to hit the sweet-spot for release in terms of the development schedule and delivering the highest-quality game to our players,” Flagship Studios CEO Bill Roper said.
“Halloween was the perfect fit as it ensures that Hellgate: London will have an appropriate amount of beta testing, while also being an incredibly fun time to unleash the game.”
