EA’s instrument-based music game falls short of Christmas release in Europe
Bad news for music fans – it now seems unlikely that EA’s Rock Band will arrive in Europe this year, following comments from an EA UK representative on Gamespot. However, the game is still on track for a Q4 arrival in North America.
Though no reason has been given for the delay, Charles Huan, the man behind Activision’s rival title Guitar Hero, says that manufacturing the peripherals is the most likely cause:
“We've had many, many years of working with peripherals and we know how difficult it is to produce sufficient quantities for a worldwide launch,” he said.
