Galvanised Britsoft firm looks to make its mark with new distribution deal
After signing up Trilogy Logistics and PR agency Indigo Pearl, Zoo Digital is launching a renewed push on the UK market by developing its own IP and ramping up its publishing presence.
Alongside the PR drive Indigo Pearl will drum up, the deal with Trilogy means that the firm will now provide Zoo with full primary distribution and logistics services ahead of key releases Premier Manager 08, Balls Of Fury, B-17 Fortress in the Sky and Showtime Championship Boxing.
To assist in the firm’s plans, it has also taken on Steve Bailey as operations manager.
“Steve has over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry and he is tasked with improving all of our internal processes from production to ordering,” said Andy Gray, PR and marketing manager at Zoo.
The firm is particularly confident in its Wii titles, due out in time for Christmas.
“Many of these products involve a licence and we are working closely with people such as Universal, Paramount and Umbro to promote our new products in as innovative a way as possible both to the trade and consumer,” continued Gray.
“We want to be seen as a quality publisher in its own right while continuing to develop the ongoing relationships we have with our current licensors and third parties. We are currently talking to developers about some very exciting projects that will help put Zoo Digital Publishing on the map, as well as developing our own IP. This time next year we will have a couple of massive titles.”
