The Xbox 360 Briefing 2007 in Japan celebrates the format as developers show support
At the Yebisu Garden Hall, Takashi Sensui, general manager of the Home and Entertainment Division at Microsoft took to the stage of the Xbox 360 Briefing 2007 to showcase the number of forthcoming titles available on the platform and show the support it is enjoying from the Japanese development community.
Tomonobu Itagaki from Team Ninja/Tecmo and Hironobu Sakaguchi from Mistwalker – both at the forefront of Japan’s games development industry – joined Sensui onstage to announce support for the Xbox 360.
Itagaki said that Team Ninja will develop Ninja Gaiden 2 exclusively for Xbox 360, while Sakaguchi revealed that Lost Odyssey will be available from December 6th in Japan and around the world in early 2008.
Alongside this, representatives from Square Enix took the stage to discuss 360 titles Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant.
