New charts deal for MCV print and online

Your leading games trade publication extends relationship with ELSPA and ChartTrack

The deal covers weekly and monthly UK games data compiled by ChartTrack on behalf of ELSPA. The new arrangements mean that MCV has secured publishing rights for the Top 40 weekly all formats chart across both its online and print portfolio.

MCV will also carry the Top 10 weekly single format charts on its website, with exclusive print rights in the trade arena.

A monthly report will also appear exclusively in MCV across print and online.
Plus there will be weekly chart commentary and the usual quarterly and annual data updates for MCV readers.

“We’re delighted to have secured these rights, as the UK’s games charts are universally held to be the most accurate in Europe,” said MCV publisher Stuart Dinsey. “ChartTrack data is essential for anyone serious about doing business in this market – just like MCV.

“We will provide a wide range of top-line information for print trade readers and our ever-growing global army of online readers.”

A limited selection of charts will be available to all professional media but, importantly, any organisation that now wants to publish even the basic charts must be a fully paid-up associate member of ELSPA.
