US price and date set for Rock Band

$170 for next-gen versions, with street date of November 23rd

Though the European details are yet to be revealed, a representative from developer Harmonix has confirmed that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the hotly anticipated Rock Band will arrive in US stores on November 23rd and carry a price tag of $169.99.

The PS2 version, which will arrive slightly later on December 10th, will cost £159.99.

Gamespot reports that the next-gen versions will contain the game, a wired drum kit and a microphone. The 360 version is set to include a wired Fender Stratocaster guitar controller and USB hub, whilst the PS3 version will instead include a wireless guitar and no USB hub.

The PS3 peripherals will also work on PS2.
