Halo 3 breaks records

Becomes biggest-selling 360 game ever; one-in-three console owners purchase copy

Halo 3 has become the fastest-selling Xbox 360 game of all time – and the second-fastest selling game in UK history, behind GTA: San Andreas.

However, PS2 had been on sale for four years when San Andreas was released in 2004, and had sold 6.6 million consoles in the UK – meaning that just one in ten PS2 owners bought the game.

According to ChartTrack, Microsoft’s UK installed based now stands at 1.4 million after less than two years on the market – meaning that one in three owners has already purchased a copy of Halo 3.

What about those die-hard fans that purchased more than 1 copy? My 2 friends bought 2 Legedary Editions and also 1 regular copy each which they got a day before release date.

I also have 2 Legendary Editions...For obviousy reason being that they will sell rather well on the net.

I've also had two copies of the games but only because it kept freezing and going wrong. In the end the only thing that Halo 3 broke for me was my Xbox. Pre-Halo 3 no problems, post-halo 3 crashing every 5 minutes. now its back to MS for repair so I'm out of an Xbox for 6 weeks!

I, don't really care on how fast this game sells; that is not what bothers me on playing it. this game my friends, to me, should be called the world's most unrealistic videogame in history! did you know, that this game copied more ideas from others it is pathetic. THATS RIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! this videogame copied the mario brothers, the movie called soldier, super troopers and more! research it your self and you to, will see! remember, you don't have to believe me, but for your own good in knowledge, i beg you to do so and then share this knowledge with others.

Thank You Very Much,
ACE
