Hodge to speak at ELSPA AGM

Minister to outline Government's position on gaming

Minister for state for culture. media and sport Margaret Hodge will be the star speaker at ELSPA’s Annual General Meeting on October 22nd.

Hodge is set to outline the Government’s position in relation to the games industry, and will follow it up with an open question and answer session.

“We are thrilled that margaret Hodge will be attending this year’s ELSPA AGM,” said director general Paul Jackson. “Her attendance lends further weight to the opinion that the Government is continuing to recognise the huge cultural and financial impact video and computer games enjoy.”

Hodge’s speech and Q&A session will follow ELSPA’s members’ forum to tackle the issue of gaming’s bad press reputation. It will all take place at The Royal Society of Medicine on October 22nd, kicking off this year’s London Games Festival.
