Financial report claims Infogrames is preparing changes at US publisher

Following last week’s announcement that Atari-owning Infogrames is working on a plan to restore profitability to the publisher, Next-Gen reports that a number of board members may be facing the sack.

A report from Thompson Financial claims that the five Atari directors will face the chop, with only three staying on and a number of new board members joining.

The chairman and CEO of Infogrames says the new board ‘will allow the group to get closer to achieving the key objectives of its previously announced recovery plan’.

If they need to make cash to return to profitablilty they should sell off the D&D license. Many other publishers will do it justice. Atari's neverwinter Nights and it's new expnasion Mask of the Betrayer would have been far better games and had better sales w/o Atari's involvment.
