Continued testing of network integration means karaoke release could still be some time away
Fans of Sony’s hugely popular SingStar series may have to wait a while longer for the franchise’s arrival on PS3, with Sony confirming that the title is still undergoing rigorous testing, reports Gamesindustry.
Whilst reviews have begun to appear for the game, the ongoing refinement of the title’s downloadable content and community features means the game is unlikely to hit its October release date.
“We want to ensure that consumers have the best possible experience when playing SingStar on PS3,” a spokesperson stated.
“We are therefore taking extra time to test the downloadable content and community features of SingStar to ensure that it is as rich, simple and accessible a SingStar experience as possible.”

Surely the benefit of downloadable content is that you only get the songs you want rather than all the filler they've put on previous versions.

Disapointed there is only 62 songs to chose from to download on the the singstar store for ps3.
