BrandWeek credits NoA president for part played in reversing Nintendo’s fortunes
One of the most recognisable names in the games industry, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, has been named as the Grand Marketer of the Year by trade mag BrandWeek.
Since making a splash in the games industry following his infamous “kicking ass and taking names” speech at 2004’s E3, Fils-Aime has played a large part in resurrecting Nintendo’s dominance in the games market and taking the company’s products to the mass-market.
BrandWeek credited him for: “Preaching the gospel of gaming to the unconverted and turning mums and older people on to the fun of Wii, a gaming console for those of us who aren’t 18, male and counting the days until Grand Theft Auto 4 is released.”

Good job
You know you're doing a good job when you outsell the competition with a technically inferior console that has only a handful good titles out.
