Microsoft announces Xtival 07, another weekend of free Gold access for Xbox 360 owners
Xbox 360 platform holder Microsoft has announced that all owners of an Xbox 360 and a broadband internet connection will be able to access the full-blooded Xbox Live Gold service free of charge on the weekend beginning November 23rd.
In addition, Microsoft is lining up a number of online events and special content for the Europe-only promotion, including competitions and exclusive downloads, CVG reports.
Xbox 360 owners are currently able to join Xbox Live for free, though they are limited to Silver membership. Gold Membership, which costs £39.99 per year, brings with it the additional benefit of online gaming and access to content not available to silver members.
