
Nintendo’s celebrated Wii platformer sells 250,000 in its first week of release
Ahead of its release in Europe next week, Nintendo’s critically hailed Super Mario Galaxy has had a tremendous debut week in Japan, shifting 250,000 copies and shooting straight to the top of the Japanese software charts, Kotaku reports.
Mario’s latest, and according to some greatest, romp outsold its nearest rival, Xbox 360 sim Ace Combat 6, by over three-to-one, selling more than the rest of the Top Ten combined.
