Pro Evo and Metal Gear publisher to handle the distribution of Hudson’s upcoming Nintendo titles
Konami Digital Entertainment has confirmed that it will be the distributor for Hudson Soft’s upcoming line-up of Wii and DS titles in Europe.
Though none of the games have yet been named, it is known that they include sports titles, family-friendly offerings and some new IP.
“The extended partnership between Konami and Hudson Soft is certain to be a hugely beneficial one,” Konami Europe president Kunio Neo stated.
“Our many European offices offer all the necessary tools and skill-sets needed to raise awareness and launch Hudson Soft’s exciting titles. The innovation of the forthcoming releases also fits well within Konami’s diverse portfolio, making the deal a perfect two-way operation.”
Hudson Soft’s Hiromi Tomisawa added: “We are delighted to be working with Konami as we look to introduce Hudson Soft titles to a much wider audience. Konami’s pan-European operation is incredibly strong and we look forward to a close working relationship as we introduce our new titles to European games players.”
