Compatibility with downloadable Xbox titles detailed by platform holder
In much the same way as gamers playing original Xbox discs on their Xbox 360 had to contend with a number of problems arising from the machine’s use of software, as opposed to hardware, emulation Microsoft has confirmed that the emulation of ‘Xbox Original’ titles on its forthcoming download service will not be quite perfect.
The platform holder has outlined all the currently known issues for launch titles – Halo, Psychonauts, Fable, Fusion Frenzy and Crimson Skies – on its website.
Issues include some ‘mild frame rate drops’ in Halo, some texture and audio quirks in Fable and problems with 720p over HDMI in Psychonauts.
Microsoft also warns that accessing any additional in-game extras, such as trailers or demos, may crash your machine.

WTF?
Firstly its nice to see they know about the known issues of old Xbox 1 games...So instead of fixing it they are just going to dump the games online for download asking for 1200points for games that do not work properly.
They should fix the disc versions and make the downloadable ones better with enhancements!
What is the friggin point Microsoft?!
Achievements?!!?
I agree. Its all a bit of rubbish really. I love to have the old games sitting on the shelves in their lovely boxes.
Still no news on achievements for these titles? This is the only thing that would make me buy these again (in their buggy format). I can only guess that since they have the same bugs as the originals then they havent been modified and wont have achievements?
Re: Achievements?!!?
Well since Microsoft was kind enough to let us know that they old classics will be in their untouched buggy state I dont think they will have any achievemants then.
Re: Achievements?!!?
Will any games downloaded this way look any better than if you have the actual disc? or are they saying it will be worse than that?

@Hayabusa
Yeah i guess it does seem that way. As we were saying in the other thread, it would have been nice to have achievements on all 3 Halo titles!
Along with PhatBouy82 i do bow down to your awesomeness, any word on when we can expect Ninja Gaiden 2? I really can't wait for that game! I think the first title was my all time fave xbox game!
