
Time is running out to secure your spot for one of the year’s most important events for games marketers
Organised by Tandem Events, the Games Marketing Forum in London promises to offer both the opportunity to learn from established marketing experts and to network with industry peers.
The event, which takes place on Thursday, November 22nd features Elliot Messenger from Hypertag talking about cutting edge promotional tool – proximity marketing and how it can connect brands and consumers through content.
In addition, Dan Coleman, who is responsible for kids and entertainment clients at leading agency Mindshare UK, will discuss how to create effective advertising campaigns, includes a case study of their award winning campaign for Lynx.
Editor-in-chief of New Media Age magazine Michael Nutley will share his view on what’s new in new media and give an insight into the hottest digital marketing trends, he will be joined by Paul Walsh of BIMA to talk through some successful social networking campaigns.
Nick Johnson, head of advertising and sponsorship at leading law firm Osborne Clarke will inform the crowd of legislation that affects the games sector and how to stay on the right side of it.

Elsewhere, founder of strategic research company Some Research Sean Dromgoole will talk about how to command gamers’ attention.
The day will open with a thought-provoking keynote from Dr. James Newman of Bath Spa University looking at the games industry’s relationship with the products it produces and the consumers it seeks to serve.
