Sega’s Nights to fly its way to PS2?

Claims that original Saturn adventure is to be ported to PS2 with 16:9 support

Leading Japanese games magazine Famitsu has reported that Sega is to release a remake of its 1996 Saturn title Nights into Dreams on the PS2 next year, IGN reports.

The remake is said to boast 16:9 widescreen, improved visuals as well as additional features such as a movie and picture viewer. It is scheduled to arrive in Japan on February 21st, and will carry a budget price tag. There is no news yet on a possible European arrival.

The game follows in the footsteps of Nights Journey of Dreams, which is due to arrive on Wii in Europe early next year. It will be the first time the series has appeared on any platform other than Sega Saturn.
