Despite the popularity of Capcom’s survival horror series Resident Evil in Japan, the latest instalment in the franchise, Wii shooter Umbrella Chronicles, has failed to knock Mario Party DS from the top of the Japanese software charts, according to Kotaku.

Elsewhere in the listings, Dynasty Warriors 6 has another strong week on PS3 – in fact, Sony’s machine does well this week, with Heavenly Sword and Ratchet & Clank also performing.
