CEO Kim Taek-jin says internet technologies have ‘become his new dream’
Next-Gen reports that leading global MMO firm NCsoft is looking to expand the internet technology side of its business on the back of a recent dip in the firm’s share price.
NCsoft owns some of the most popular names in the MMO business, and has backed the recent expansion of its US business with a pledge to radically enhance its European operations.
However, following the halving of its hare value in the last two months CEO Kim Taek-jin has explained that the company will look to broaden its wings going forwards.
“After games, the Internet has become my new dream,” Taek-jin said to The Korea Times. “The Openmaru internet software studio is the first step to create a more open internet environment by providing easy-to-use technologies.”
