I have friends in the US that work in game stores like Gamestop for example and even they said they sold Xbox 360's and the Wii within half an our all sold out, however with the PS3 one of my friends does not even remember selling even 1.

First things first Ryu Hyabusa is a lying fool. Secondly Microsoft are also lying. There is no way Sony would have immediately disputed them if they were wrong.

One set of figures we do have is the new Japanese figures for November where the PS3 outsold the Wii and outsold the 360 by 5:1.

How is comparison to sales in Japan in the least bit relevant ?

We all know 360 is not a big seller in Japan, and therefore sales in this region are in no way reflective of what the sales are/will be in the US, where the Xbox has a much larger appeal.

The fact is, it is the lead up to Xmas, the biggest time of year for the video games market, and both Sony & Microsoft will be having a war of words during this period - just like between two opposing teams in advance of any big sporting event, and we wont know the true sales figures, and who beat who by how much until December 13th.

It doesnt matter if Ryu is lying.....the facts are:

Sony dispute everything the moment they hear about it, regardless of whether its right or wrong.

Japanese sales figures mean nothing on these s****s these days as western markets have grown considerably in the last two years and a success in the east means just that.

It doesnt matter what console has sold more than the others. What matters is the games and the people that own DS's, 360's and Wii's are having the last laugh.
