Tickets have gone on sale for next March's massive Play.com Live consumer show at Wembley Stadium.
Doors open at 10am and close at 6pm on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March 2008.
Costing £16 each for the whole weekend, the firm's website promises:
'Play.com Live will showcase the hottest game titles and entertainment arriving in the next twelve months and beyond. Taking place at Wembley Stadium, Play.com Live allows the most important people to get hands on with titles months before they arrive in the Play.com warehouse!
We'll also be giving away huge prizes over the course of the two-day event, including two chances to win £50,000 as well as free goodie bags for all attendees.'
The VIP ticket gives consumers access to all areas of the event.

Fantastic
Great stuff, just ordered my tickets, can't wait to go. Problem is, play could advertise it a bit better on their own website, could barely find it, just used MCV's link. But still, low visibility won't help it's ticket sales!
Bring on March!
Re: Info
For those wanting to know about these "two chances to win £50,000" they are unfortunatly refering to two separate tournaments for the new FPS PC game, Unreal Tournament 3.
£20K is for the winner of the 1on1 Tournament and the rest is for the 5v5 iCTF(Instagib Capture the Flag) Tournament. The main catch to it is you have had to purchase the game before the 18th December in order to receive an entry code from play.com. The large UK based league Enemy Down is in association to cover this event, be sure to check out their website for more information and rules.

Another London Show!
Hi
Seen this event but have you seen the other one going on in London durng the May?
Called the London mcm expo, more information can found at www.londonepxo.com if you are interested.
They are enlarging the gaming presence that is already large
Re: Another London Show!
the show sucked ass!
90% games shown were all released, worst was EA. All the games they showed were all released.
All the special games to be played such as Prototype, Resident Evil 5, Ghost Busters etc. There were just old trailers
Ninja Gaiden 2 wasn't there.
And London Expo sucks! Don't go there, Play.com Live is better than Londond Expo
Re: Another London Show!
Have to agree with xino!! Had to wait 55 minutes to get in and got there at 9.30 am with my kids. Wembly staff took our drinks off us, I suppose cos they expected us to buy theirs at a daylight robbery price, asked for them back when I left said I couldn't have them, thieves!!! Kids couldn't get on games as loads of middleaged men on them!!! They ran out of goody bags when we got in, but managed to find someone after an hour of being in there and blagged a couple!! Although they met Tom Baker and Robert Llewellyn which was their highlight. Left after two hours!!!
