Nintendo’s latest Wii big-hitter shifts over 250,000 in its first week, debuting in second spot in software charts
If there’s one thing we should know about Nintendo it’s that its games tend to carry on selling – so a number two debut in the Japanese software charts for Nintendo’s Wii Fit can be considered an extremely strong debut.
Its 261,000 week one sales were not quite enough to rob Level 5’s highly anticipated DS logic-puzzler Professor Layton and the Pandora’s Box from claiming the top spot, with week one sales of 294,000. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed also does well in the territory, debuting at number eight in the listings.
