CEO and co-chairman of new super-publisher to share bumper payout following Vivendi and Activision merger
Following the merger of Vivendi Games and Activision to create new super-publisher Activision Blizzard, the new company’s president and CEO Robert Kotick and co-chairman Brian Kelly look set to share a $40 million payout, the Financial Times reports.
Each will receive around $10 million in change-of-control payments and 363,637 shares, which have a current value of $10 million. Kotick is also set to receive a further one million shares over the next five years, depending on the company’s performance.
It was also reported that both men have waived additional benefits that were offered as part of the deal.
