Rumours claims that Project Gotham developer is handling Activision’s promised Bond reinvention
When Activision snapped up Project Gotham developer Bizarre Creations in late September the publisher proudly stated its intention to make big waves in the racing genre, but rumours claim that the UK developer is pencilled in to work on a new James Bond game.
MCV, however, understands that another established studio has been lined up for the new action-orientated Bond game set for release alongside the next Daniel Craig film, though it is possible that Bizarre could be working on a petrol-powered Bond tie-in.
Activision purchased the video games rights to the lucrative James Bond franchise from rival EA last May, and has since stated that the licence is one of the greatest in gaming history.
EGM now claims that the US super publisher, now of course known as Activision-Blizzard, has tasked the successful UK studio with the task of reigniting the Bond franchiser.
