The console wins best overall review score according to Reevoo
Nintendo's Wii was awarded the console 2007 Customer’s Choice Award, collated by independent review publisher Reevoo.
The scores for the next gen consoles were extrapolated from customer reviews, and put the Wii on top overall with 8.78 out of 10, the PS3 second with 8.25 out of 10 and 7.65 out of 10 for the Xbox 360.
Nintendo’s console also achieved the best rating in terms of games with 8.08, while the Xbox 360 scored 6.81 and the PlayStation 3 achieved 5.71.
Despite being the most expensive, the PS3 achieved the highest score for value for money with 7.96 compared to the Wii’s 7.70 and the Xbox 360’s 7.15.
Richard Anson, CEO of Reevoo, said: “The Wii has been an absolute phenomenon this year and Nintendo would have cleaned up if availability had been better this Christmas.”
