Nights, Ghost Squad, the Club and Condemned 2 all given solid UK release dates
With many gamers heading to the shops today to find only emptiness and ‘for sale’ signs in the spot where they’d usually peruse the new releases, Sega has abated the post-Christmas new release blues with a number of Q1 confirmations.
January will see the release of Wii racing-come-platform-come-flying-about title Nights: Journey into Dreams and Zapper-friendly shooter Ghost Squad on the 18th, with PC and PS2 title Phantasy Star: Ambition of the Illuminus and PC RTS Universe at War: Earth Assault arriving the following Friday, January 25th.
February will bring with it Bizarre Creations’ manic third person shooter The Club on 360, PS3 and PC on the 8th, the same day that the DS version of Christmas hit Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games hits shelves.
PS2 and Wii racer Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity follows on the 22nd, and February 28th sees Bleach hit Wii and DS.
Sega’s March releases will be the Xbox 360 version of Universe at War on the 7th, the highly anticipated Condemned 2 on 360 and PS3 on the 14th and next-gen console romp Viking: Battle for Asgard and 360, PS3, Ps2, Wii and DS sports outing Sega Superstars Tennis on the 28th.

Not bad
Not a bad selection - The Club, Condemned 2 and Superstars Tennis could all be quite good.
But it's Nights that makes me excited! Genuinely can't wait for that.
