Nintendo’s latest new way to play becomes an official Far Eastern hit
After less than a month on sale in Nintendo’s homeland of Japan, the firm’s latest Wii outing Wii Fit has already sold a million units in the territory, Nikkei reports.
The title comes bundled with what is known as a Wii Balance Board, a device on which players stand as they work their way through over 40 different exercises. The game also keeps track of things such as a player’s Body Mass Index.
There is not yet a European release date for Wii Fit, though we can be sure we’ll see it some time in 2008.
